What CFILytics® measures
CFILytics® measures culture on seven bipolar domains. Each domain has two poles. No pole is better than the other. A mismatch between two profiles is a risk signal, never a verdict.
1. Leadership: Autonomy ↔ Control
2. Communication: Direct ↔ Diplomatic
3. Collaboration: Individual ↔ Collective
4. Innovation: Risk ↔ Stability
5. Engagement: Intrinsic ↔ Extrinsic
6. Work balance: Integration ↔ Segmentation
7. Inclusion & Sustainability: Pragmatic ↔ Values-driven
Two results are always shown together:
Culture fit: how closely a person, candidate or group resembles a reference profile (for example a team or the desired culture).
Culture gap: what a team or organisation is missing compared with the culture it wants.
How a measurement works
A participant answers statements in a chat of about eight minutes. Each statement is answered on a seven-point scale.
The same statements are worded from three perspectives:
Candidate: the organisation they prefer ("My ideal organisation…").
Employee: the organisation as it is today ("My organisation…").
Management: the organisation as it should become ("My organisation in the future…").
Answers become a position between two poles on each domain. Positions become a profile. The distance between two profiles becomes culture fit and culture gap. The calculation is fixed and deterministic: the same answers always give the same result. Every statement and every domain always counts; a domain can be weighted more heavily, but is never left out.
Group results (team, department, site, organisation) are calculated from individual profiles. In an anonymous campaign a group result only appears from five respondents.
Every participant, including candidates, receives a personal insight report. Whether a candidate also sees their match score is a setting chosen by the recruiter.
What CFILytics® is not
It is not a personality test.
It does not predict job performance.
It does not give a verdict, a pass or a fail.
It does not make automated decisions. A person reads the report and decides.
The scoring does not use AI, machine learning or a self-learning model. AI is only used, optionally, to draft the wording of a suggestion in the action plan.
Use cases
Recruitment: compare a candidate with the team or the desired culture. Output: culture fit and culture gap per candidate, ranking per vacancy. Pages: https://cfilytics.com/en/organisations and https://cfilytics.com/en/pricing
Organisations and culture change: measure the current culture per team, department and site against the desired culture defined by management. Output: gap report, action plan with priorities, progress report between two measurements. Page: https://cfilytics.com/en/organisations
Mergers and acquisitions: measure buyer and target on the same scale before signing, as cultural due diligence. Page: https://cfilytics.com/en/mergers-acquistions
Consultants and advisers: run culture measurements for clients from one login; first measurement as diagnosis, second as evaluation. Page: https://cfilytics.com/en/consultants-advisers
Pricing model
Every organisation starts with 10 free measurements. One measurement is one completed questionnaire by one person.
After that there are two tracks: recruitment is priced per candidate; culture campaigns (employees, management and candidates invited together) are priced per campaign, with all reports included.
Prices on request. No credit card, no licence and no automatic charge after the free measurements.

Data, privacy and compliance
GDPR: no decision is based solely on automated processing. Participants can request, correct or delete their data via the DSAR form in the footer or via [email protected].
Retention: candidate data is kept for 365 days. Employee campaign data is kept for as long as the organisation uses its workspace.
Anonymity: campaigns can be anonymous or by name, chosen per campaign. Individual answers in anonymous campaigns are never shown.
EU AI Act: the measurement is a fixed calculation, not an AI system. The only use of AI is optional wording help in the action plan, which never sees or changes scores.

Frequently asked questions
What is CFILytics®?
A culture measurement tool that measures organisational culture on seven domains and shows culture fit and culture gap.
Who makes CFILytics®?
Matcher.jobs NV in Berchem, Belgium, developed with Sapience, a VUB spin-off.
Is CFILytics® a personality test?
No. It measures how people see an organisation, or the organisation they want.
Is CFILytics® scientifically validated?
CFILytics® is scientifically grounded in Schein's model. Research into its validity is ongoing and will be published when available.
Does CFILytics® use AI to score people?
No. The scoring is a fixed, deterministic calculation. AI is only used, optionally, to draft the wording of a suggestion in the action plan.
Can someone be rejected based on a CFILytics® result?
No. A mismatch is a risk signal and a reason to ask better questions. A person always decides.
How long does the questionnaire take?
About eight minutes per person.
What does CFILytics® cost?
The first 10 measurements are free. After that per candidate for recruitment and per campaign for culture measurements. Prices on request.
How is CFILytics® different from an employee survey?
A survey measures satisfaction. CFILytics® measures culture on one fixed scale, so two groups, or today and the desired future, can be compared directly.
What is the difference between culture fit and culture gap?
Culture fit is how closely a profile resembles a reference profile. Culture gap is what a team or organisation is missing compared with the culture it wants. CFILytics® always shows both.
